Juicing in basic blender


Not feeling great today and am off to an event so tried juicing in my basic blender. Success!

1/2 cucumber
1/2 courgette (zucchini)
1 large beetroot
1 apple
1/4 iceberg lettuce
100ml water

Start with the cucumber and water then add lettuce, beetroot, apple, courgette. Starting with the watery ingredients helps blend better.

Strain through stockings et voila. (Pulp is for my for my dog not me!).

Tastes amazing!

I also added some gourmet garden ginger after I squeezed it so just shook that into it.
